June’s Featured Install highlights the Team Coastwide Camp Grand Isle, completed by Dustin Fromenthal and Brandon Billiot with Southern Concrete Coatings in Morgan City, Louisiana.
Given the constant flow of kids running in and out, the floor needed to be exceptionally durable to withstand heavy foot traffic. It also had to be visually appealing, as well as easy to clean and maintain.
Dustin and Brandon knew that Versatile’s epoxy, flake, and polyaspartic system would be ideal for this environment. They began with our 4195 Direct-to-Concrete Pigmented Epoxy in Whisper Grey, featuring advanced wicking technology that provides three times more adhesion than other coatings for extra strong floors.
Next, they broadcasted a combination of our 1-inch and ¼-inch Brindle Flake in Lani Grey to achieve the black, grey, and white color variations. The flakes enhance the visual appeal and contribute to the floor’s durability.
The final step was the application of our 5085 Ultra-High Solids Polyaspartic coating. This topcoat is designed to provide a robust layer of protection, making the floor stain, scratch, chip, and peel-resistant, ensuring it looks great for years.
The camp owners are thrilled with their new floors. Congratulations to Dustin and Brandon on this outstanding installation!
