Urethane Cement provides a durable flooring solution for commercial and industrial environments, protecting concrete floors from heavy machinery, frequent cleaning, and extreme temperatures. Versatile’s 1007 Solid-X Urethane Cement High-Build is a seamless 100% solids cementitious urethane system that provides a tough, high-build underlayment. It features a low odor, no VOC formulation that is resistant to most chemicals. The Solid-X Urethane Cement is a combination of 100% urethane blended with proprietary aggregates. It is applied at 3/16-inch and broadcast with clear quartz, resulting in 1/4-inch total thickness. This product offers very good workability and gives extended working times to make installation easier.
This system is most suitable for environments requiring durability and thermal shock resistance. The 1007 Solid-X Urethane Cement makes floors abrasion and impact-resistant, and an anti-slip additive can be added to bolster safety requirements. It is also extremely hygienic due to its seamless application, protecting against bacterial and fungal growth despite repeated washings, sanitizations, and decontaminants.
The product comes in five finishes (natural, red, light grey, medium grey, and dark grey), and any of our quartz or flake products can be used with it. A polyaspartic topcoat can be used for added durability, UV protection, and superior coating longevity. Solid color systems can use a pigmented polyaspartic topcoat for added color fastness.
