The owner of this airplane hangar wanted a floor that looked good and was extremely durable. Michael chose to use Versatile’s Roll On Rock® Epoxy Flake Flooring System. This system starts with our 4195 Direct-to-Concrete Pigmented Epoxy Floor Coating which provides three times more adhesion than other epoxy or polyaspartic floor coatings so it won’t chip or peel. Then Flake is broadcast across the floor in the size and color of your choice. Michael chose the 1/4-inch Graphite Flake. To finish, the team used two layers of topcoats to provide a glossy, durable finish – the 5108 Polyaspartic Fast-Drying Coating/Topcoat as an optional build coat and then the 5085 Ultra-High Solids Polyaspartic Floor Coating.
The Roll On Rock® Epoxy Flake Flooring System is extremely chemical and hot tire resistant. Additionally, the floor coatings made the floors low maintenance and easy to clean.
