March’s Featured Install showcases a beautiful garage floor transformation by Ryan Parker and his team at Epoxy Pro Inc. in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
This project was initiated through a referral from a satisfied client for whom Ryan had previously installed a Brindle Flake floor in Dolerite. As always, referrals prove to be an invaluable tool for growing a business.
Ryan’s customers needed to renovate their garage floor to prepare for their annual family Thanksgiving dinner, which they traditionally hold in the garage. Although they had updated most of their home, the garage had been overlooked, leaving its floor with outdated grey paint.
To prep the space, Ryan’s team removed the old chipping grey paint and repaired any cracks and divots in the concrete floor with our 5 Minute Crack-Weld and Divot Patch products. Next, they applied our 4195 Direct-to-Concrete Pigmented Epoxy in Slate Grey, featuring advanced wicking technology that provides three times more adhesion than other coatings. Then, they broadcast a 1-inch and 1/4-inch combination of Brindle Flake in Dolerite. To finish the installation, Versatile’s 5085 Slow Drying Polyaspartic Floor Coating was used to provide a strong topcoat that makes the floor stain- and scratch-resistant, as well as chip and peel-resistant, so the floors will look great for years to come.
