This 30,000 sq ft parking deck is at the Marriott’s Waiohai Beach Club in Koloa, HI on the island of Kaua’i. It was installed by Aaron Schneider with MOBO Pacific, LLC. out of Hawaii and Mike Barton with Barton Coatings out of Anaheim, California.
Aaron Schneider led this huge resurfacing project for MOBO Pacific, LLC with the help of Mike Barton with Barton Coatings. After several successful installations over the years between MOBO and Barton Coatings, Aaron reached out to Mike to help with this project. He needed more manpower from a reputable concrete coating company, and Barton Coatings was the perfect fit.
For the parking deck, the customer needed serious repairs for leaking issues because the previous coating was failing. MOBO Pacific, LLC. chose to use Versatile’s products because he had installed the same floor coating in the hotel’s port cochere drive-through entrance outside the lobby a year previous and the hotel owners loved it. The installation consisted of Versatile’s Solid-X Industrial Concrete Coating System where they started with the Lifetime Primer with Silica Sand and the 4195 Direct-to-Concrete Pigmented Epoxy Flooring in Charcoal Grey for the beautiful color and extreme durability needed for this outdoor installation. The topcoat was Versatile’s 5073 Polyaspartic Fast Drying Sealer with a Charcoal Polyaspartic Pigment Pack added for extra color and 30 Grit Rhino Tooth for a non-slip finish.
